Norbert Brunner is an Austrian conceptual and installation artist, who has gained attention and acclaim for his mirror objects, which draw the viewer in through reflection to become part of the installation themselves. Brunner works mainly with acrylic glass, Swarovski crystal, mirror, photographic prints, paint, and foil, creating objects that diverge wildly in scale from tiny to enormous. He is always on the hunt for new means of communication, or ways to create a dialogue between work and viewer. Brunner’s most recent solo show took place at the Claire Oliver Gallery in New York.
