Matt Irwin was a British photographer, known for his iconic portraits of some of the most influential figures in music, entertainment and fashion, including Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, One Direction and Lady Gaga. He started taking photos at the age of 15, when a friend gave him a camera which he continued to use for the rest of his life. He began his career at Dazed & Confused in London, where he worked as an editor and later, as in-house photographer. He went on to create editorial work for Elle UK, Vogue Russia, Vogue Japan and Glamour magazine in the US, among many others.
